Our school hall will soon turn into a child-friendly disco with UV lighting with DJ playing top tunes!
Event info
Date: Thurs 24 Oct
Time: 4.30-5.30pm: (YR-Y3) / 6-7pm: (Y3-Y6)
Ticket price: £4.00
Doors open 15 mins before each session.
We ask parents/carers stay for the 4.30pm disco, but you can drop-off for the 6pm session.
Y3 can choose which disco they prefer.
Dancing and snacking!
We’ve taken on board feedback from our school community to make the disco more inclusive, so everyone will receive snacks when they arrive:
- Crisps or popcorn
- Candy necklace
- Funsize chocolate bar
- Soft drink
What else is new?
Thanks to the School Council’s ideas, there’ll be:
- Water station and healthy snacks kindly donated by Waitrose Hove.
- Chill-out zone at the back of the hall.
- Dance routine for all to follow, lead by talented Y5/6 dancers!
- Pre-selected song requests!
- Prizes for best dancers.

Disco rules!
Having fun is the main rule (!), but remember:
- No pocket money needed.
- No masks.
- No mobile phones (as per school rules).
Siblings welcome
3s and under are free, over 3 need a ticket!

Any funds raised will go directly towards our Save our Treehouse £6K goal!

A few notes in line with guidance from the school and Brighton and Hove City Council around our school events:
– We have a ‘no dogs allowed’ policy.
– To make sure everyone is safe, parked cars should not prevent emergency vehicles accessing our site. There is visitor/public parking in bays by the allotments for those with a disabled badge or who has access difficulties. Where possible please walk to the event!
– Food safety agency info.
– Children are asked not to bring smartphones, inline with school policy.
