How you can help

Whether it’s volunteering time, sharing skills, connecting us with resources, or donating items – anything you can offer will make a huge difference. And it all helps fund great resources/equipment for the school!

Summer Fair help ☀️ 🙏 🥳

Planning is ON for our Fair on 21 June and we need your help…

MUSIC – Are you (or your kids) in a band/choir and want to perform?
ALUMNI – Do you have a teen Aldrington alumni who’d like to run a stall?
FACE PAINTERS – You don’t have to be professional obvs!
CANDY FLOSS – Help make sweet treats.
SOFT TOYS – Good quality for the Teddy Tombola (no nursery toys please!). Drop at school office.
PLANTS – Any greenfingered families with plants to donate?
BAKED TREATS – Homebaked or shop bought treats, we don’t mind!
FUN HELPERS! – Everything from setting up to stall running (sign-up available soon!)

Match funding

Where an organisation agrees to match fund money raised by employees for registered charities (the PoA are a registed charity!) Maybe who you work for offers this? Do some investigating! Here’s who has supported us so far:

Corporate volunteer days

Many companies offer employees ‘volunteer days’ without having to give up a full day’s pay. You can use these to help at school events/on trips. Why not reach out to your HR team!

Offer your time/services…

Volunteers at school events. Keep an eye out for ‘shout outs’ leading up to the events asking for helpers.
Volunteer Reading Helpers. Contact the school or go in and speak to the team.
Maintenance services/materials– can you help out with DIY/gardening? We sometimes organise a ‘spring clean day’ at school and always need helpers.
