Teddy bear’s picnic I Sun 17 Aug

Welcome, new Panda and Penguin Reception families!

You’re invited to come along to a picnic at our lovely school. It’s the perfect opportunity for new families to meet up, and for your little ones to get to know others in their class before they start their school journey.

    Picnic details

    • Join us from 12:30-2pm for a relaxed get-together.
    • If the weather’s good (finger’s crossed!), we’ll be in the playground. If it’s rainy, we’ll head to the school hall.
    • Tea and coffee provided.
    • Parents/carers can meet their Class Reps.
    • Siblings are welcome.
    • Just bring a picnic and a teddy!

    Who organises it?

The Parents of Aldrington (PoA) do! We’re a friendly bunch of working parents spanning all year groups. And we’re always looking for people to get involved with our events throughout the year. Without volunteers, these fun events would not be possible.

See you at the picnic – and if you can’t make it email parentsofaldrington@gmail.com or find me after pick-up at the school gates to say hi!

    Vicky Pateman
    Chair of the PoA

A few notes in line with guidance from the school and Brighton and Hove City Council around our school events:
    – We have a ‘no dogs allowed’ policy.
    – To make sure everyone is safe, parked cars should not prevent emergency vehicles accessing our site. There is visitor/public parking in bays by the allotments for those with a disabled badge or who has access difficulties. Where possible please walk to the event!

    – Children are asked not to bring smartphones, inline with school policy.
